How to Make Your Own Wine Popsicles

Two words: Wine Popsicles. Did your jaw just hit the floor? Here are some quick and easy wine popsicle recipes perfect for a summer get-together!

These ice cold treats are perfect on a hot summer day, particularly if you like to be in a reclining position. Whether you’re lounging on a blanket, in a hammock, or on a few carefully placed pool noodles, it’s way easier to eat a popsicle than to try to balance a wine glass in your hand.

Plus, they’re super easy to make at home. Whether you’re like red, white, or rosé, here’s how to make your very own wine popsicles. You’re welcome.

Our Favorite Recipe

There are endless possibilities when it comes to mixing wine and fruit, but this simple method is our personal favorite.

  • Blend up some frozen strawberries and mangos.
  • Add some orange juice and your favorite wine to the blender. We went with a medium-bodied Merlot.
  • Once everything is blended together, pour the concoction into a set of popsicle molds.
  • Wait while they freeze.
  • Enjoy.

You can play around with the proportions. We recommend filling the blender about three-quarters of the way up with fruit, and then adding wine and juice until it’s full, but it’s not an exact science. In other words, you can’t do this wrong.

Vino Variations

Popsicles are like mood rings – it’s totally cool and normal to enjoy a new color every day. You can switch up the fruit, the wine, or the juice as you see fit. Try these combos and see what you like best.

Rosé with Strawberries and Pears

The pears lend some sweetness, while the strawberries match the brightness of the wine.

Coconut cream wine popsicles

Rosé Creamsicles

Sub out the orange juice for some coconut milk and a little simple syrup.

White Wine and Peaches

Choose any white wine from a light Pinot Grigio to a sweet Moscato.

Three different wine popsicles rest in glasses of wine.
