5 Super Summery Frosé Recipes

Summer and Rosé, name a more iconic duo…we’ll wait. Well, actually a more iconic duo might just be summer and frosé! These 5 frosé recipes are perfect for a summer of relaxation.

Our current favorite Rosés are the Gladiolus and Petal Press rosés of Cabernet Sauvignon, and our Sprig & Rose and Petal Press rosés of Sangiovese.

Note: All the recipes ask for you to freeze the Rosé in a separate container (ice cube trays or a 9×13 metal sheet). The Rosé will NOT freeze completely through due to the alcohol present.

Basic Frosé

We don’t mean to be too basic, but we had to start from where it all began! This frosé recipe is perfect for those who want to give frosé a try. 

Ingredients

  • A bottle of your favorite Rosé
  • 8 oz of strawberries – tops and middle cut out
  • 1-2 tablespoons of sugar or sugar substitute
  • 1-2 teaspoons of honey
  • 1 cup ice

Directions

  1. Pour the Rosé into ice cube makers and let set in freeze for 6+ hours
  2. Once it is mostly frozen add to blender along with strawberries, sugar, honey, and ice
  3. Blend until smooth – you can add more ice for a thicker consistency
  4. Enjoy with a good book on the porch 

Garnish: A strawberry

Grapefruit frosé recipe graphic

Grapefruit Frosé

A frosé recipe that equal parts tart as it is sweet. It will make your taste buds dance!

Ingredients

  • Bottle of Rosé
  • ¼ cup vodka
  • ¼ cup of grapefruit juice – the fresher the better
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • Ice – as desired

Directions

  1. Freeze the Rosé in ice cube trays
  2. Once frozen add to the blender with vodka, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, and ice
  3. Blend until smooth or have reached desired thickness
  4. Enjoy with a group of college friends

Garnish: A slice of grapefruit

Strawberry and Watermelon Frosé

A simple yet yummy twist on the classic frosé recipe with ingredients you can find in your kitchen!

Ingredients

  • Bottle of Rosé
  • 7 oz watermelon juice
  • ¼  blood orange liqueur
  • 1 oz agave nectar
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • About 10 strawberries – sliced

Directions

  1. Pour the Rosé in ice tube trays or 9×13 metal sheet and freeze 6 hours
  2. Add the frozen Rosé, strawberries, blood orange liqueur, agave nectar, lime juice, and strawberries into blender
  3. Blend until you reach your desired thickness
  4. Enjoy while watching the dogs play outside

Garnish: A slice of watermelon or strawberry

Raspberry and peach frosé graphic

Raspberry & Peach Frosé

Is it just us or do raspberries and peaches just make everything better? This sweet frosé recipe is perfect for those who love raspberry margaritas. 

Ingredients

  • Bottle of Rosé
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 4 oz of fresh raspberries
  • 4 oz of peaches (remove the pit and cut into chunks)
  • 2 ½ oz of lemon juice
  • Ice – as desired

Directions

  1. Freeze the Rosé in separate container for 6 or more hours (ice cube trays or 9×13 pan)
  2. Once the Rosé has become frosé add into blender along with the other ingredients
  3. Blend until you get to your desired thickness – for thicker frosé add more ice
  4. Enjoy on a Saturday afternoon tanning

Garnish: 3 raspberries on a cocktail stick and a slice of peach

Watermelon Mojito frosé recipe

Watermelon Mojito Frosé

We are putting frosé and frojito (frozen mojito) into one with this fun recipe! 

Ingredients

  • ½ bottle of Rosé
  • 2 cups of watermelon – cubed
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 8-10 mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of agave nectar
  • 1 cup of ice

Directions

  1. Start by freezing the Rosé 
  2. Once mostly frozen add in watermelon, lime juice, mint leaves, agave nectar, and ice into blender
  3. Blend – if you want it to be thicker add more ice
  4. Enjoy when having a beach day with friends and/or family

Garnish: A slice of watermelon and some mint leaves
