Life is all about taking chances; but sometimes taking chances can go a little too far.

We would never want you, our prized member/virtual BFF, to take a gamble that could put your precious life in jeopardy. So instead of taking life-altering (or life ending) risks, we came up with a list of 5 ways to be a risk-taker with wine. Because life is short, wine is good, and becoming a career mermaid takes way too much time and planning.

1.

INSTEAD OF THIS: dedicating each second of your existence to becoming a mermaid

TRY THIS: dedicate a few minutes of your time in the wine aisle looking for a new bottle to try

2.

INSTEAD OF THIS: kidnapping the president of the United States

TRY THIS: ‘kidnap’ some of your friends and take them to a winery to experience the winemaking process

3.

INSTEAD OF THIS: stabbing your husband with a squirrel

TRY THIS: stab your wine cork with a nail & pull it out with a hammer when you can’t find a corkscrew

4.

INSTEAD OF THIS: throwing a pinecone

TRY THIS: throw a wine tasting party

5.

INSTEAD OF THIS: spending $100,000 to achieve the perfect Justin Bieber look

TRY THIS: spend a few dollars on a bottle of wine that you really like to achieve the perfect relaxing night

Have a risk you’ve taken that you wish you could’ve swapped out with a wine-related risk instead? Shout it out to us by posting to Facebook here or tweet your idea to @BrightCellars, and we’ll tweet out our faves!
