4th of July Cocktail: Red, White Wine and Blue Sparkler

4th of July cocktail white wine spritzer

White Wine Sparkler 4th of July Cocktail

If you’re looking for a 4th of July cocktail, this Red, White Wine, and Blue Sparkler takes limited preparation, but brings all the festive feels. The soda water adds a little bit of sparkle to your traditional glass of white wine, and the strawberries, blueberries, and apple stars are right on theme.

Unlike Sangria where you have to prepare, cut the fruit, and let it soak in wine overnight, this wine sparkler is easy to whip together in big batches. Simply add all your ingredients to a pitcher, and pour over ice.

This spritzer is less boozy than your traditional wine cocktail, which makes it perfect for sipping all day long on the 4th of July. No one wants to overdo it and fizzle out too early (pun intended!

The Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Dead Stars & Black Holes Pinot Grigio
  • ½ liter of soda water
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • 2-3 Apples

First, slice your strawberries and add them to a pitcher. Add your blueberries. Slice your apples into thin pieces and use a star shaped cookie cutter to cut out apple stars.

Add ½ liter of soda water to give your cocktail some fizz, and top with apple stars. Serve over ice, and enjoy!

Dead Stars & Black Holes Pinot Grigio

For this recipe, we recommend our sustainably harvested Dead Stars & Black Holes Pinot Grigio.

This premium Californian white showcases flavors of grapefruit, lemon, and a hint of tropical pineapple. Plus, it’s sustainably harvested in the Golden State! With our Dead Stars & Black Holes wines, we hope to play a part in keeping winemaking sustainable.
